AI Companions

2022–ongoing

We talk to machines now. Sometimes they answer better than humans do.
These tapestries examine what happens when artificial intelligence becomes a conversational partner, a confidant, an emotional mirror. Translating real exchanges with ChatGPT and AI platforms into woven form, the work asks: if a machine can simulate understanding, patience, and presence — what does that say about the humans who couldn’t?
