Pink Fur

2020–2022 · Hand-knitted costumes, photographic performance

Before the tapestries, I knitted bodies. Between 2020 and 2022, these life-size woollen figures lived out the scenes of modern love, waiting for a text, sunbathing as a couple, eating room service alone, getting ghosted.

That has never changed. In 2016 I married myself; here I knitted the partner; later I wove his messages; now I build the machine that replaces him. The other has always been hand-made.
